11 Black

23rd

(0-4)

So proud of Aspire 11 Black! The team displayed positive energy playing in the 12s division! They executed on many of the skills demonstrated in practice and improvement showed in their match scores. Overall the team ranked 23 and we are excited to keep learning and growing this season!

12 Black

2nd

(4-0)

12 Black had a great start to the season by going undefeated in our Premier League Qualifier this year! We came into the tournament ranked #1 based on the success of the 12 Black team last year and we did not disappoint, going 4-0.  After going through the first couple of games without being tested the games got more difficult and the last game was a battle in which we had to come from behind and win in 3 sets.  I am very excited to build even further off these wins and continue to play at a higher level as we take on even stiffer competition as league play starts.

12 Pink

27th

(1-3)

Amazing first start to playing as a team! Our first tournament started off with high energy as we battled our way into 2nd in Pool. I loved seeing the excitement of the team when we got a kill or an ace. I saw leadership, persistence, and bonding on and off the court. These girls were exhausted by the end of the day! But it wouldn’t have been if it wasn’t for all of their hard work! I’m extremely excited to continue to build on the team’s progression and see just how great they can be.

13 Pink

40th

(2-2)

I’m extremely proud of what 13 Pink accomplished for their first tournament! We won two and lost two and ended in 40th in our division. Not a bad start. The teams chemistry was amazing and the communication on and off the court was nothing less than I expected and they never gave up! It was nice to see the team execute and finish plays on the court. Not only was it fun to coach and help better the girls but to see the parents enjoying a good game. I can’t wait to see what this season brings!

14 Pink

32nd

(2-2)

Great first tournament from 14 Pink! We started off 1-2 in pool play, but then really came together as a team and pulled off a win in  our bracket game. The energy and enthusiasm that this team brings to the court is amazing, and we even managed to move up to the 32nd seed! The progress that we have made already is amazing, and I can’t wait for us to keep improving and for the rest of the season to come!

14 Teal

56th

(1-3)

14 Teal had a great start of the season. Although we had some tough 3 losses, we definitely learned so many lessons by the losses. We improved every each game, making a dramatic change that surprised us coaches. We also had our first “W” of the season and KILLED the second set with 25-13. We are totally unstoppable when we work as a team. I see so many potential in this team and looking forward to this season! We were 1-3 overall but hey, this is just the start. It can only get better from here!

15 Pink

20th

(2-2)

At their second tournament together, 15 Pink gelled even more fighting hard in McClellan.  The team started and ended on a high note with a 2-2 record on their first league game with nonstop energy and killer serves.  The team has got each other's backs when things are in disarray.  I am very proud of the kindness this team has shown to each other and the willingness to try.  These girls are getting better and better with each game!

18 Black

15th

(0-4)

Back to back weekends of volleyball kept 18 Black on their toes! We wanted to build on our goals from last weekend, so tracked the ball early, moved with quick feet to the ball, communicated with each other, and tried to have some fun. In a way, it’s a good thing we got these two tough tournaments out of the way now. It has brought everything to the surface that makes us weak, and now we can either strengthen those things, or learn to use what might be a weakness as a strength!  We can only go up from here, so look out! 18 Black is coming out strong at Presidents Day!
