13 Black went 4-2 at Power League Qualifier. Our team started at seed 52 and worked our way up to seed 28! Coaches were proud of the team’s level of play against high ranking teams, all the loud cheering from parents and players, and are excited to see each player develop throughout this season!

14 Black

14 Black played tough at League Qualifiers. We really came together as a team despite missing a few players. Coaches are proud of the girls adapting quickly to new positions and competitive teams. Moving forward, we are going to continue to further develop their skills and working together as a team. We look forward to seeing them grow throughout the season!

Top of silver is a great spot to be in.  We only lost to the 2 & the 4 seed and had competitive sets with both.  If we perform to our ability we should move up to gold PL #2. We made a strong showing for our team.  Service percentage wins was 64%.  That’s great. 2.4 Server effectiveness with 68 aces or 11.3 per match is very good. We attacked at a .137 improving from Cal Kickoff.   We were competitive with the top teams in the division.

16 Black

 Aspire 16 Black came in as the 94 seed and finished the weekend as the 64 seed.  The team played very well both days and barely missed an opportunity to finish the weekend even higher in final seeding.  The teams defense was much improved from their performance at Cal Kick off and is showing signs of having a stronger attack.  16 Black is still improving, which is bad news for their opponents and good news for Aspire.
