Woo-hoo! Back to some volleyball! Florida here we come!! I am so glad we were able to provide this opportunity for our players!

Practices starting on Monday! And we are oh so excited, but we do have to follow the RETURN TO PLAY safety protocols. As the Covid county restrictions lessen we may be able to adjust the safety measures, but till then this is how we will be operating.

Indoor practices are at  Sports Court Fitness (directions) - Practice Schedule

  1. Complete this Sports Court Fitness waiver and bring to the first practice
  2. Arrive and wait outside or in your car until notified to come in the building
  3. Parents cannot come to the courts but may be allowed in the registration area to drop of their player
  4. Temperate checks and hand washing will be done at the check in area
  5. Players will then proceed to their courts

During practice

  1. Players are to maintain a SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCE from each other, this is the hardest part! But it is IMPORTANT we show the facilIty management we can keep apart.
  2. NO HIGH FIVES we get to practice using our voices to cheer each other on and we can air five
  3. Coaches will have player “freeze” instead of “bring it in” so we can instruct, huddles will be avoided
  4. At the end of practice all equipment will be sanitized and players will again wash their hands

All of the information pertaining to the summer season is on the website GIRLS AAU NATIONAL and BOYS AAU NATIONALS. I don’t know if I will have time to build and import the calendar but the PRACTICE SCHEDULE pdf is linked and on the site.

Tomorrow I will be assigning players in Sports Engine to the roster, so if you have the SE app you will see the team. This is a great tool for group messaging. It only works for the guardians on the account, but you can add a guardian (husband, wife or child) if you want them to be in the chat for the team. If parents want to set up a groupme, that is fine, but club communication will be via email and through Sports Engine.

Parents if you are planning to attend, please EMAIL ME if you haven't done so already.

Woo-hoo! Go Aspire!
