Coaching volleyball has been a passion of mine since 1996 when I began coaching Club Volleyball for what is now Force/Synergy Volleyball Club.
Over the past 18 years I have coached Beginner - Advanced athletes competing in 2 Junior Nationals, I have coached 13 Varsity Teams at Folsom High School and competed in several playoffs including the schools best historical finish of 3rd in the San Joaquin Section. From beginner volleyball to Junior National Volleyball and High School Varsity Volleyball, I have coached it all.
I love the energy the game has and the strategic and skillful talent it requires to succeed. It is so rewarding as a coach to see players develop their own personal talents through dedication and hard work.
In 2008, I started Folsom Volleyball Club as a Club for players in Folsom, but we quickly grew to Aspire Volleyball Club servicing over 150 athletes boys and girls in the Folsom and surrounding communities.
I love helping youth find their own potential as an athlete and a person, helping teach kids to believe in themselves and to strive to conquer challenges brings me joy in knowing I have passed the passion forward to one more kid!
In the last 15 years, I have seen the community grow to a competitive level; I feel blessed to have the opportunity to help youth pursue their volleyball dreams and I am proud to be a part of the evolution of Volleyball in our community.

This is the first year Cinnamon has coached our daughter and quite frankly I wish we had met her years ago. She is a perfect blend of demanding hard work and encouraging a high level of play. I venture to say she has taught my daughter more in one year then her last three years combined. She has taught our daughter a lot
about volleyball but also that you need to have focus and you need to work hard, all while making it fun.
It's not easy to gather a group of 17-18-year-old girls who do not know each other that well and mold them into a group of young ladies that want to go to practice, want to learn and want to get better
individually and as a team. That is the result of a good coach and mentor.
Our daughter has had many good coaches and Cinnamon is at the top of that list.

During my time at Aspire I was coached by Cinnamon on the 18 Titans and had a great experience/ She taught me muse more than the fundamentals which helped me get the opportunity to play in college. She pushed us to be our best selves on and off the court and always held us accountable if we were not working to our full potential. She values the relationships with her players, which really brought our team together and helped us succeed!

I wanted to take a few minutes and thank you and Aspire Volleyball. Over the years that we have been associated with the club, our daughter has gone from being a recreational player, to competing at the varsity level in high school. Your blend of technical training and coaching has given her the confidence to continue competing at the next level. Our season spent with you as her coach (15 black) was not only a positive experience on the volleyball court, but the girls had fun off the court as well. Keep up the outstanding work and we look forward to playing again next club season!

Cinnamon DaSilva coached my daughter’s 15 Black team last year. She was a great coach that developed my daughter into the volleyball player she is today. Cinnamon gives constant feedback to the girls during both practice and during game situations, and sets a high expectation. Coach Cinnamon has a great understanding of the game, and she sets personal goals for each of her players. She has great insight and technical knowledge, and imparts that knowledge frequently to create skilled players and a team environment.
