About

My family has always been a very sports orientated family, I played multiple sports but when I started playing volleyball back in 6th grade, the minute I stepped foot on that court, I fell in love with the sport and knew that I wanted to stick with it.

I have played school, club, and sand volleyball for many years, but once COVID-19 hit, I stepped away from playing.

I was lucky enough though to have been asked to start coaching this year. I thought it was going to be hard to switch to coaching instead of playing but it came naturally to me and brought me a completely different aspect of volleyball that I loved.

For coaching, I love the aspect of growing connections with the girls I coach, seeing them improve their skill level and grow self-confidence from watching themselves succeed.

Volleyball is a fast-paced team sport, that involves strategic gameplay and has unexpected moments that keep you on your feet. I am fairly new to the coaching world but I am excited to incorporate those aspects into our practices.
