Growing up in SoCal, volleyball was always around me.

There was always a pickup game no matter if I was at the beach, a park, or a gym.

The moment I knew volleyball was the sport for me was after I had done a beach volleyball clinic back in 2016 with Casey Patterson on the center court at the AVP Manhattan Beach Open and then seeing him play in the Rio Olympics a few weeks later.

I never wanted to be away from the game after that whether that be practicing with my club teams or in my backyard, playing in tournaments, going to watch the LBSU men's and women's teams, or popping down to Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, or Long Beach to see the local AVP or FIVB tournaments.

I was lucky to grow up surrounded by many current and former olympians, AVP pros, and top indoor players just walking up and down the beach on any random day and being able to get to know these people fueled my love for the sport even more.

This love for the game is really what made me want to coach, as I have had so many phenomenal coaches in my career, and it's my goal to pass on the love and admiration for the game that they have instilled in me into the future generation of volleyball players.

Playing Experience

I started playing volleyball when I was 10 through local rec leagues and on my middle school teams. I began playing club at 13 and played all through middle and up until my Junior year of high school for Surfside down in SoCal and Synergy Force up here and was a Setter and DS. I ended up playing club beach my junior and senior years of high school for Elite Beach Volleyball as well as playing on the Palos Verdes High School varsity beach team all 4 years of school. I also currently play for the club team at the University of Colorado, Boulder as a Setter.
