Overview

Hudl is the platform we use to record stat and share game footage. It keeps everything in the same place and allows parents and athletes to watch game film and share clips. Hudl also has an amazing recruiting feature that gives athletes exposure nationwide and allows colleges to view an athletes profile. 

Set up

Parents/players will need to set up a Hudl account for the athletes. The account should be made with the players name and preferably email so that stats/rosters can be accurately tracked. 

IMPORTANT: If parents want to login/watch anything on Hudl, they will need to login with the athletes profile. 

Filming

Teams should have a parent/volunteer work the camera so that coaches can focus on coaching! An ideal spot for the camera is centered on the court, on a tripod, and about 6 feet in the air to clear any obstructions from film. Recording should be as easy as pressing record at the beginning and stopping it when the game ends. Please do not "pause" the recording between sets or timeouts, just let it run! If filming is being done on parent phone/camera, they can be added as an admin to the Hudl so they can upload captured games themselves, just let your coach know.
