Qualifier Tournament Summary

By Jennifer Morrical 02/07/2019, 10:45am PST

15 Black did very well at our last competition! The girls played at Jackson Sports Academy in Sacramento, CA. We finished 12th in Gold Bracket. We had 2 wins and 2 losses overall. The girls learned to work as a team and improve their skills.

HIGHLIGHTS

We are a very strong serving team and had many runs throughout the day. Payton and Sienna led the team in Serving Aces! The coaching staff was very impressed to see all the girls continuing to serve tough even in stressful situations!

Throughout the tournament the girls became more aggressive at the net. We had a few girls stand out with kills and overall play in the front row. Awesome job Emily G, Emily K, and Dannae! We  were very pleased with the level of play from our Oppos as well. They may not have led the team in kills but they definitely made their mark on the court by performing well in all areas.

As Head Coach I was very impressed with the level of consistency from my Libero/DS players. Meghna did a great job providing her setter with many 3 passes. Many of my players were determined to get every ball they could and played gritty throughout the day.

A special thanks to the parents and family that came out to support our team. The girls look forward to you watching them grow!
